I’m at the language school where I teach English right now, waiting for my class time to roll around. I moved again last week, so things have been a bit disorganized for me recently; no internet yet at my new place, but certainly a lot of room, fresh air, and silence. I’m still in the heart of the city, but somehow the school found me a place seemingly forgotten by progress for the last thirty years…I really love the neighbourhood. Brick building, five storeys, and gardens out to one side. The main downside at the moment is that my bathroom sports a huge window without any sort of curtain whatsoever, and unfortunately I’m taking showers each morning while it’s still dark outside, probably giving some lucky Chinese an unexpected show.
I’ve been feeling tired this week from the long days I’m doing. This is agrivated by the fact that I’ve got a runny nose, a result of all the pollen in the air here right now. There are countless beautifully flowering bushes and trees blooming right now, and despite my hay fever, I’m enjoying them.
This keyboard is terrible, and is hurting my fingers, so that’s all for now.
Chris
