Went to Zhengzhou University today and asked about living arrangements; things are all good. But my Japanese friend San Pu has decided not to return to China, unfortunately...that's a real downer. Last year, even though we could hardly communicate, we had some good times together; he was the first friend I made at ZZU when I started last November.

Other news? I ate a watermelon tonight. Last one of the season probably. Apples are now appearing instead, which indirectly means Autumn's on its way, which indirectly means no mosquitoes, which is good.

Have to teach a pile of classes tomorrow. Weekends....
