I dunno....I wish China was closer to Canada. If only I could make occasional weekend trips home.... As it is, visiting home is such a huge affair that I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the prospect. For those of you who don't see the trouble, please consider: 12-hour difference jetlag that harangues one for days; expensive flight ticket; talking with customs about why I'm living in China for so long, why I'm not living in Canada, why why why China China China; suitcase lugging, no shower for two days in transit from Zhengzhou to Beijing to Vancouver to Toronto to Alliston etc., etc., And then to do the same thing all over again coming back....

It's a hassle.
