"There are nine million bicycles in Beijing...." Anyone else like that song?

I had a really nice evening last night at Target. Sometimes it's not even what was said or done, it's just a feeling. Maybe it's just a lack of conflict or problems that left me with a feeling of peace. A call from my brother Jeff also left me feeling a bit more normal somehow. I hadn't talked with him for a long time, and it was refreshing.

Rich is leaving (this time for good) in a month or so. Sounds like he's got a good-paying job at a university in Toronto doing research. It sort of feels like an age is coming to an end here in Zhengzhou really. The old group of foreigners, the people I run into around the city or at the bar is slowly dissipating. In their place are people (horror of horrors) younger than me. I met a guy named Camille from Norway last night who was no more than 17.

Anyways.

Picture: Rich and I last night.
