Loved this Chris. It is very interesting to see a "day in the life" type of movie. Maybe consider a mini-series type, showing what a day in the life of you in china looks like.
I definitely noticed the stares. However how often do they see a foreigner out for a walk at night?
What was with the trance in the park? Was that a night club? or was that just the carnival music?

I found your video since a random viewing on YOUTUBE. It's amazing!Your enthusiasm for language and life enlighten me a lot. I like your attitude for life.Yeah,life is short why not spend time on the things that you really interested in. I'm also an overseas student, studying in perth, Australia. Perth is a peaceful paradise, but I'm still encounter some difficulties about future and study even money...since I read your blog I found that the difficuties are just a part of life. The most important part is to enjoy,to learn and to improve myself everyday:)
